Service Engineer for Mastclimbing Systems

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Brogan Group, a leading access specialist. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing Mastclimbers and Hoists, ensuring prompt and accurate completion of associated paperwork, and making recommendations for replacement parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining Mastclimbers and Hoists to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Reporting to the Mastclimber and Hoist Contracts Manager/Operations Manager
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and industry standards
  • Collaborating with the maintenance department to ensure efficient and effective maintenance practices
  • Providing recommendations for replacement parts and materials to ensure the highest levels of equipment and building availability

Requirements:

  • Experience in servicing electric motors and gearboxes, as well as working with site cranes in a maintenance department
  • Electrical and mechanical background, with experience working with Mastclimbers/hoists or lifts/elevators in a building
  • Current qualifications, such as City & Guilds/BTEC National Diploma/NVQ Level 8 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
