About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our MMC EMEA accounting operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data, as well as identifying areas for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the team manager in reviewing regional tasks and improvement initiatives
  • Work with the EMEA accounting operations team to identify areas of efficiency
  • Lead various reporting, dashboard, and change initiatives for the EMEA Accounting Operations team
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks, projects, and initiatives as required
  • Perform monthly Balance Sheet quality reviews according to the global standard
  • Communicate with Accounting Operation Teams regarding findings and improvement areas for Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Assist operations teams in Balance Sheet cleansing activity
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge/experience within General Ledger or similar
  • Experience presenting/coaching or delivering training to teams
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales
