Job Title: Supervisor

We're seeking a skilled Supervisor to join our Transportation team in Glastonbury, Somerset. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of reactive works elements of highways maintenance activities on the Somerset Highways Term Service Contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Planned Works Manager in programming, managing, and delivering planned works
  • Supervise daily allocation and management of works and resources, ensuring compliance with program and maintenance requirement plan
  • Actively promote health and safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general health and safety responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients, members of the public, and other key stakeholders, including emergency services where required
Requirements:
  • Experience working within the highways industry, including knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery
  • Hold an SSSTS or higher and a full driving license
  • Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
