Job Title: Graduate Structural Engineer

Location: Gloucester

Salary: Up to 30,000

Job Overview:

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join our client's team in Gloucester. As a specialist in steel structures, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and inspection of steel structures, including Telecoms, rail, utilities, highways, and radar.

The Role:

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will:

  • Assist in the design and analysis of steel structures using industry-leading software.
  • Work on exciting projects that include commercial buildings, industrial structures, and infrastructure developments.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and senior engineers to ensure design accuracy and project success.
  • Perform structural calculations, technical drawings, and report writing to deliver quality engineering solutions.
  • Support in the preparation of technical documents, material take-offs, and project specifications.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
  • Relevant coursework or projects focused on steel structures is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with structural engineering software (STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Internship or project experience in structural engineering, particularly with steel structures, is preferred.
