Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer

Penguin Recruitment is working with a successful UK-based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy to find a talented Graduate Structural Engineer specializing in steel. This is an excellent chance to kick-start your career in structural engineering and work on innovative projects that ensure designs are structurally sound, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.

The Role:
  • Assist in the design and analysis of steel structures using industry-leading software.
  • Work on exciting projects that include commercial buildings, industrial structures, and infrastructure developments.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and senior engineers to ensure design accuracy and project success.
  • Perform structural calculations, technical drawings, and report writing to deliver quality engineering solutions.
  • Support in the preparation of technical documents, material take-offs, and project specifications.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
  • Relevant coursework or projects focused on steel structures is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with structural engineering software (STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Internship or project experience in structural engineering, particularly with steel structures, is preferred.
