We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Social Work Supervisor to join our team at Foster Care Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
  • Monitor the continued suitability and competence of Foster parents ensuring they provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and learning environment for children/young people.
  • Provide and record regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Proven ability to produce a high standard of report writing.
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
  • The willingness and ability to travel to visit foster parents and children.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
