Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Lead to join our team at KPI Recruiting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other departments to meet production goals, ensure quality standards, and foster a safe and efficient work environment.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance team skills and productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
- Collaborate with HR on employee relations and conflict management within the team.
- Ensure all SOPs, training guides, and support materials are utilized to drive continuous improvement, onboarding, and staff retention.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Planner to adjust production schedules as needed, responding to unforeseen issues such as machine breakdowns or material shortages.
- Ensure proper documentation of production activities and generate performance reports.
- Ensure all products meet quality specifications and standards.
- Work with the Quality team to resolve any quality issues.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety risks in the production area.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with other departments such as maintenance, quality, purchasing, and business development to ensure smooth operations.
- Report production progress, challenges, and performance metrics to Senior Management.
- Be fully accountable for the performance and output of the production team, ensuring KPIs are met and deadlines achieved.
Requirements:
- Excellent people management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational, planning, delegation, and supervisory abilities.
- Flexible and willing to take on additional tasks when needed.
