Data Enrichment and Quality Assurance Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team as a Renal Research Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing and enriching rare kidney disease data at Kidney Centres in the South West.
Main Responsibilities- Work with key stakeholders to build an understanding of the relevant rare disease datasets held in the registry and the study.
- Establish effective working relationships with key contacts to develop a plan for accessing relevant medical records and biopsy reports.
- Conduct audits of the data to establish data gaps and inaccuracies.
- Conduct on-site visits to identify priority data items for enrichment activities.
- Liaise with contacts to access data completeness reports and updates.
- Consult reports and cross-reference against data held in the registry.
- Manually add, transcribe, and enrich the data where necessary.
- Conduct subsequent audits to establish and ensure improvements in data quality.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the senior project manager and relevant stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with a flexible and highly motivated attitude who is able to use their initiative and be innovative. You need to have an interest and understanding of data and renal terminology. You must have proven IT skills and be competent in data management.
Working ArrangementsThis is a fixed-term contract for [insert duration]. The post holder will be based in Exeter but will be expected to travel to other locations as required.
