About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Outdoor Group Activity Worker to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of activities that provide our young people with the opportunity to access a wide range of experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate outdoor activities and excursions for our young people, including planning and coordinating trips and events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to provide external social opportunities for our young people.
  • Assist with outdoor education and ensure that our young people are engaged in activities that benefit them socially, emotionally, and physically.
  • Establish and develop trusting relationships with our young people, acting as a role model and working in partnership to enable them to address their difficulties and reach their potential.
  • Support our young people in gaining self-control, challenging unacceptable behavior, and rewarding positive behavior.
  • Assist with behavior support in the classroom and support our young people in developing their independence.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in planning and delivering activities for young people.
  • A passion for the outdoors and a creative approach to engaging young people in activities.
  • Ability to work in a child-centered manner, using a calm and reliable approach to build trust and confidence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the smooth-running of the site.
