Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role

SER Limited is seeking a motivated Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join their growing team. As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining fire extinguishers in accordance with BAFE standards and industry regulations on commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation & Maintenance: Install, service, and maintain fire extinguishers on commercial sites.
  • Compliance Checks: Ensure all fire safety equipment is compliant with legal standards and is fully operational.
  • Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and guidance on fire safety matters to clients.
  • Reporting: Complete accurate reports and documentation for each site visit.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • BAFE Qualification: Must be BAFE qualified to work as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in fire extinguisher installation, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Systems knowledge: Barrel and Plastic.
  • Driving License: A full clean driving license is essential, as you will be required to travel to various sites.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential fire risks and non-compliant equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
