Senior Safety Engineer

Copello is seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake product safety functional design analysis and provide specialist safety advice to ensure the safety of our products and services.
  • Produce product safety evidence to support qualification, legislative requirements, and safety justifications.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure their product safety requirements are met.
  • Provide realistic programme status and identify problem areas to implement recovery plans for product safety activity.
  • Articulate and present product safety arguments clearly and logically.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable understanding of product safety techniques, including hazard identification and analysis, delivery of product safety cases, and auditing of product safety management systems.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to achieve product safety benefits.
  • Desirable: looking to work towards professional chartership, passion for product safety, and ability to influence others.
