About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Wholesale Model Validator to join our team at Harnham. As a key member of our credit risk team, you will be responsible for validating and ensuring the accuracy of our wholesale credit risk models.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Validate all wholesale credit risk models to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  2. Utilize SAS daily to validate credit risk models and provide regular reports to senior management
  3. Manage model processes end-to-end across the bank, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery
  4. Mentor junior team members and lead validation projects to drive business growth and improvement
  5. Stay up-to-date with changing banking regulations and ensure our models are aligned with the latest requirements
  6. Develop and implement new models, as well as maintain and enhance existing ones
Requirements
  1. Strong credit risk experience with wholesale portfolio, with a proven track record of success
  2. Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  3. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like SAS, SQL, and/or Python
  4. STEM degree from a top university, with a strong academic record
