Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

We are partnering with a leading global Pharma company to recruit an experienced Supply Planner on a fixed-term contract through to 2026.

Job Summary:

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for executing and controlling supply chain activity for assigned product portfolios, providing specialist product knowledge to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Master scheduling, inventory, and procurement responsibility for assigned product portfolios.
  • Inventory procurement responsibility up to £50,000 approved financial limit.
  • Ownership of the short/medium-term supply plan for a portfolio of products and accountability for ensuring they operate within healthy supply parameters.
  • Performance monitoring, KPI management, and escalation for assigned Contract Manufacturing Organisations.
  • Liaison with Technical, Logistics, Artwork, and Shared Services teams for assigned product portfolios.
  • Demand analysis and requirements planning.
  • Inventory management and procurement.
  • KPI tracking and performance management.
  • Input to Supply Review Meetings and Sales & Operations Planning processes.
Requirements:

We are looking for experienced Supply Chain Planners from a Pharma, FMCG, or Food background with a focus on quality control in a regulated setup.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the movement and replenishment of SKUs, working in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.

The role is based on the English/Scottish border, and our client offers flexible hybrid working with a minimum of one day per week in the office.
