Supply Chain Planner Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical company to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Planner on a fixed-term contract through to 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join a leading pharmaceutical business and contribute to the execution and control of supply chain activity for assigned product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Master scheduling, inventory, and procurement responsibility for assigned product portfolios.
  • Inventory procurement responsibility up to £50,000 approved financial limit.
  • Ownership of the short/medium-term supply plan for a portfolio of products and accountability for ensuring that they operate within healthy supply parameters and deliver continuity of supply in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Performance monitoring, KPI management, and escalation for assigned Contract Manufacturing Organisations.
  • Liaison with Technical, Logistics, Artwork, and Shared Services teams for assigned product portfolios.
  • Demand analysis and requirements planning & inventory management.
  • Create, amend, and transact inventory purchase orders in ERP systems.
  • KPI tracking and performance management.
  • Inventory procurement and purchase order management.
  • Input to Supply Review Meetings and Sales & Operations Planning processes.
  • Responding to affiliate, partner, pre-wholesaler, or customer enquiries and needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join a leading pharmaceutical business and contribute to the execution and control of supply chain activity for assigned product portfolios.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing the movement and replenishment of SKUs, working within a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality control in a regulated setup.

The company offers flexible hybrid working of 1 day a week in the office as a minimum requirement.
