About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Weekend Chef to join our team at A2Dominion Group. As a Weekend Chef Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a high-quality catering service at our retirement housing scheme, which caters to 57 self-contained apartments for residents aged 55+.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our service to prepare and cook meals for our busy restaurant service
- Provide high-quality meals catering to our residents' and guests' dietary and cultural needs
- Complete administrative documentation, recording meals sold and reporting resident feedback
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and health and safety legislation and guidelines
- Take responsibility for own time management and work with colleagues to maintain standards
About You
We are looking for someone with previous catering and hands-on food preparation experience. Ideally, you will have a catering or cooking qualification and/or experience working in a care and support environment. You will also need excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to engage with elderly and vulnerable customers, and be comfortable with completing administrative tasks.
