Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team in East London.

This is a 4-day week role, with a rota that includes 10 hours per day, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to cover up to 2 bank holidays per year.

The Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse will be responsible for managing the clinical floor, clinical shifts, and some administrative tasks. They will work closely with the other Deputy Head Nurse to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital.

The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, and a strong medical team. Our experienced surgeons routinely conduct advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the clinical floor and clinical shifts
  • Assist with administrative tasks
  • Work closely with the other Deputy Head Nurse
  • Contribute to the development of the hospital's clinical policies and procedures
