Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Vet Finders. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in supporting and leading our veterinary nurses, ensuring the efficient running of the practice, and maintaining our high standards of patient and client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead the nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Ensure the efficient running of the practice, including anaesthesia, nurse consultations, surgical recoveries, and inpatient care
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to advance patient care and nursing skills
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Three years of nursing experience, with a strong background in veterinary nursing
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and continuing education

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £36k per annum, DOE
  • Active encouragement of CPD and further learning, with a CPD budget of £500 per annum and 3 days of paid CPD leave
  • RCVS and VDS covered, 28 days of holiday, discounted vet fees, and a discretionary annual bonus
  • Relocation and sponsorship available
