**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Environmental Crime Enforcement Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Crime Enforcement Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of public spaces, and contributing to the well-being of our community.

Main Duties:

  • Enforcing local laws and regulations to prevent littering, fly tipping, and dog fouling.
  • Providing information and guidance to members of the public on environmental matters.
  • Collaborating with local authorities to identify and address environmental issues.
  • Assisting with the preparation of cases for trial and presenting evidence in court.
  • Maintaining accurate records of enforcement activities and reporting regularly to management.

Essential Skills:

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to environmental protection.
  • Physical fitness to perform duties in all weather conditions.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £13 per hour.
  • A flexible working pattern of 40 hours per week, working any 5 days from 7, including weekends and bank holidays.
