About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at Ambient Support. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the best interests of each person we support are at the centre of any decisions made about their life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with individuals, their advocates, family, friends, and significant others to ensure their needs are met.
  • Respect the values, beliefs, and culture of everyone we support.
  • Ensure concerns, complaints, or requests are responded to promptly and effectively.
  • Assess and minimise risks to keep each individual safe.
  • Develop a person-centred team that makes a real difference to people's lives.
  • Coach and mentor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community.
  • Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support.
  • Ability to undertake a flexible working pattern.
  • Flexibility, a 'can do' attitude, and a sense of humour.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ L3 in Health & Social Care.
