Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 boy with ASD in a popular Ofsted "Good" Primary school in Redbridge, London.

The school is a three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team.

Contract Details:

  • Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work: Supporting a Year 1 Boy with ASD
  • Contract start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Until end of the academic year July 2025
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in UK Primary Schools
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility:

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years
