Job Description

Job Title: Pupil Support Assistant

Department: Children and Education

Location: Various Primary Schools in North West Edinburgh

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/Sessional

Salary: £23, - £23, per year (pro rata for part time and sessional)

Hours: Various, 39 weeks sessional

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pupil Support Assistant to join our team in the North West of Edinburgh. As a Pupil Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with their academic and personal needs
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and lessons
  • Help to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
  • Support students with special educational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working with children and young people (desirable)
