Credit Controller Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the full ledger, aged reports, and ensuring timely payment of invoices in multiple currencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee credit control activities for various markets, including the EMEA region.
  2. Maintain the full ledger and aged reports across various currencies.
  3. Engage with clients via phone and email to ensure prompt payment.
  4. Quickly escalate issues to relevant stakeholders, such as Project Managers, Account Executives, or senior finance management.
  5. Send monthly statements, reconcile accounts, and handle client queries.
  6. Develop strong relationships with global and local clients, internal stakeholders, and other office locations.
  7. Manage intercompany receivable accounts to ensure timely payments.
  8. Work with the Accounts Receivable team on client setup, maintaining records, obtaining purchase orders, uploading portal invoices, and completing credit checks.
  9. Assist with cash collection analysis, aging of debtors, cash flow forecasts, and bad debt provisions.
  10. Continuously seek ways to enhance procedures for faster cash collection.
Requirements:
  1. Familiar with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience:
  1. Minimum of 5 years in a credit control role.
  2. Experience working with EMEA and/or global clients and offices.
  3. Proven success in improving collections and processes.

Location: Crowborough with occasional travel to London office
Salary: Up to 35k, depending on experience.
