The Fugro-Geoteam AS team within the Marine Site Characterisation business line is seeking a skilled Proposal Manager to join their waterfront offices in Portchester, UK, or Edinburgh's Heriot Watt University campus.

This pivotal role involves writing tenders for Marine Environmental projects worldwide, while maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication and identifying opportunities for Fugro.

The successful candidate will specialise in environmental site characterisation, impact assessment, and ecological monitoring, providing valuable insights for clients and regulatory organisations.

A BSc in Marine Science or Environmental Science, or equivalent commercial experience, is essential for this role. Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review client-provided Invitations to Tender (ITT) and prepare proposals using technical and commercial knowledge.
  • Plan surveys, identify areas of innovation, prepare schedules, calculate price, and identify project risks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from across the globe in a high-paced client-focused environment.
