Job Overview

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager in the Oncology and Haematology ward at Alaw Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd.

This is a demanding role that requires commitment and a positive leadership approach towards change. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and high clinical standards, with a passion to make a difference for patients and staff alike.

Main Duties

The Deputy Ward Manager will be responsible for managing and controlling the activities of the ward in an effective and efficient manner. This will include providing support with staff appraisals, sickness, and training support.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, and Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
