About the Role

The Mental Health Practitioner will work as part of a team to provide mental health support to children and young people in educational settings. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Work in partnership with children, young people, and families to develop plans for intervention and agreed outcomes.
  • Undertake accurate assessments of risk to self and others.
  • Escalate cases where the level of need becomes beyond scope or more severe, ensuring adherence to service delivery.
