Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sterile Processing Technician at STERIS Canada Corporation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all medical equipment is processed and maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This includes operating various types of medical equipment, including sterilizers, washer-disinfectors, and dryers.

You will work closely with our team to ensure that all medical equipment is processed and maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

With comprehensive training provided, you will be set up for success and career advancement in the field of Sterile Processing.

The estimated salary range for this position is $59,000 - $86,375 per year, based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain medical equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Operate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic, and drying cabinets
  • Participate in regular on-site training sessions
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 year of transferable or previous Sterile Processing experience preferred
  • CRCST or CBSPD certification (must obtain within 12 months of hire and maintain annually)
