Job Title: Field Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to work closely with the Project Management team to supervise multi-disciplined construction projects. As a Field Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex projects across London Gatwick.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver regular site safety engagement on responsible projects, to ensure an emphasis on and compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and promoting a positive HSE culture
  • Review contractor CDM and quality and commissioning submittals for quality and compliance
  • Inspect work within to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering colleagues to ensure all works are installed to plan
Requirements
  • Served as a Field Engineer, Site Engineer, NEC Supervisor, or Clerk of Works in the construction or civil engineering sectors, managing multi-year projects valued at up to £10 million.
  • Skilled in project handover and closeout processes.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) issues related to construction
  • Well-versed in quality management principles and practices
