Estimator Trainee Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Estimator to join our team at ROTHERWOOD RECRUITMENT (2020) LIMITED in Keighley. As a Trainee Estimator, you will play a key role in our Estimating department, working closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality estimates and support the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use Logikal estimating software to design and draw aluminium windows, doors, and feature screens.
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates and tenders for new projects.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of building construction and estimating principles.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of building construction and estimating principles.
  • Ability to interpret elevation and plan drawings and take off scaled dimensions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: £24,000 - £26,000.
