Trainee Estimator

Fortem People are happy to be representing a small but extremely successful manufacturing company in the heart of Keighley.

There are circa 20 people in the business and you'll be working with a small team of 3 in the office to provide estimating and customer support for their sales team.

This is a site-based, full-time role.

Hours (These are non-negotiable due to the nature of the work):
Monday 7.30-4.30

Tues-Thurs 8-4.30

Friday 8-4

This is a role that offers long-term progression and a rewarding career. Whilst you are based within the sales team, there will be no cold calling and you'll be required to ensure that quotes are followed up. You'll be carrying out estimating duties and then sending quotes out via PDF.

Day to day duties and responsibilities:

- Daily use of estimating software (Logikal) to price bespoke products.
- Engaging with customers to fully understand their requirements from the initial stages of their projects.
- Understanding elevation drawings and plan drawings to scale
- Specify suitable products for each individual project.
- Working in-conjunction with current building regulations for England, Scotland and Wales.

- You'll be able to pick up systems and processes quickly
- Superb customer services/telephone-based experience
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Articulate

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
