Job Title: Cleaning Operative

Location: Babcock - Ashton House

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 5.00am to 10.00am, 25 hours per week

Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour

Job Overview

As a Cleaning Operative at ABM UK, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to client facilities in and around the building. Your role will involve cleaning floors, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning glass doors and windows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe down stainless-steel fixtures, and remove smudges from mirrors
  • Clean restrooms, showers, and empty trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures and mirrors
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas
  • Assist team leaders and supervisors as needed to ensure optimum service to clients
Requirements
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Approachable and courteous manner
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate building
