About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at ABM UK. As a Cleaning Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins
  • Clean and sanitize washrooms, restrooms, and other communal areas
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times
  • Follow specific cleaning schedules and procedures provided by ABM UK
  • Respond to any cleaning-related requests or emergencies promptly and efficiently
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning or janitorial role would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends if required
