Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team at UKCIL, providing 24 hour assisted living care to our clients in their own homes in Southport.

The ideal candidate will have experience in health and hygiene, manual handling, and be confident in handling high stress situations while maintaining a positive mindset and sense of humour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, such as washing dishes, hoovering, and mopping, as well as administering medication and keeping hourly nursing notes and daily care records.

The client suffers from a degenerative spinal condition, resulting in numbness and nerve damage, and is wheelchair bound. They also experience complex PTSD.

We are looking for someone who can provide emotional support and help the client remain as independent as possible while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living tasks, including washing dishes, hoovering, and mopping

Requirements
