About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core subjects to Key Stages 2 and 3 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and at least 3 years of teaching experience in the UK. They will be able to plan and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs of students, and will be supported by the classroom teaching assistants.

The role offers flexibility to work on a part-time or full-time basis, term-time only, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm. The successful candidate will be part of a small, nurturing school that makes a big difference to children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching core subjects to Key Stages 2 and 3 students
  • Planning and delivering lessons that cater to individual student needs
  • Working with classroom teaching assistants to support student learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in the UK
  • Passion for teaching and supporting children with SEMH needs
