Job Title: Health Care Support Worker - Gynaecology Nursing

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to join our Gynaecology Nursing team on Branston Ward at Lincoln County Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy ward providing elective care for women undergoing Breast and Gynaecological surgery, as well as emergency assessment and care for women experiencing early pregnancy complications and Gynaecological disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to women, supporting the multi-disciplinary team in implementing and planning ongoing care.
  • Ensure the environment is kept clean and tidy to a high IPC standard and that resources are used in a cost-effective manner.
  • Reflect the Trust's values and behaviours in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Support the hospital site in other areas when required, to maintain safe staffing levels in all ward/clinic areas.
Requirements
  • Literacy and numeracy qualifications equivalent to Functional Skills level 1 or above (e.g. GCSE grade E or above).
  • Literacy and numeracy qualification equivalent to Functional Skills level 2 (e.g. GCSE grade C or above).
  • Successful completion of the Care Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in a Health Related area or equivalent experience.
