About the Role

Hitachi Energy UK LIMITED is seeking a skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Systems Test Engineer - Protection Specialist, you will work in a conceptual and detailed design engineering environment, providing engineering solutions to the end customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans.
  • Manage procedures and schedules for completing systems.
  • Coordinate integrated testing activities and review and evaluate test requirements to ensure the test program is completed.
  • Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations.

Requirements

  • Power Systems engineering related education or the equivalent (HNC or BTEC minimum qualification).
  • Strong design and coordination capability and experience in the engineering discipline of Power System.
  • High Technical experience required - with an awareness of 2nd injection test set.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external teams and customers.
  • Experience within the Electricity Supply Industry.
  • Proven Teamwork and Collaboration skills.
