Job Overview

Motivair, part of March, provides critical engineering services across infrastructure, process, and digital services. We seek a skilled Service Engineer to join our team, delivering high levels of service following established procedures.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical or electromechanical skills training or an apprenticeship, with the ability to work with low-pressure and high-pressure machines. This role involves working on a wide variety of compressed air systems, performing technical assessments and appraisals of engineering equipment and requirements, and generating new business recommendations.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Deliver high levels of service by attending breakdowns, completing regular service calls, installation work, and generating new business recommendations.
  • Work on a wide variety of compressed air systems and perform technical assessments and appraisals of engineering equipment and requirements.
  • Promote Motivair to secure opportunities for additional work.
  • Repair broken-down equipment under emergency call-out schemes.
  • Support system commissioning and training activities.
  • Carry out equipment and system installation work at customer sites.
  • Complete appropriate risk assessment and method statement paperwork before commencing work.
  • Participate in the Call Out Rota as required.
  • Maintain company vehicle in accordance with guidelines.
  • Provide feedback on any product design features causing maintenance or operational difficulties.
  • Submit expenses in accordance with company policy and ensure that expense documentation for the team is detailed, documented, signed off before submitting to Finance.
