**Job Description:** Job Title: Accounts and Financial Assistant

**Estimated Salary:** £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Financial Assistant to join our team at Agility Resourcing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial responsibilities, including reconciliation, invoicing, VAT returns, and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Daily invoicing and coding and posting of invoices in accordance with company policies.
  • Calculate various monthly and quarterly rebates and update spreadsheets accordingly.
  • Check, reconcile, and submit VAT returns on time to avoid penalties.
  • Account management, including purchase order and supplier payments.
  • Sales/Purchase and nominal ledgers maintenance.

Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process payroll on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Input timesheets and transactions onto the bespoke payroll database.
  • Process starters and leavers, statutory payments, and pension data submissions.
  • Roll back and correct payroll when necessary to maintain financial integrity.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AAT or qualified by experience in accounting and finance.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
