Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team as a Rebuild Repair Engineer at Finning, the largest CAT dealership in the UK and Ireland.

Your primary responsibility will be to carry out reconditioning and maintenance on Caterpillar products, ensuring that the refurbishment meets Finning's standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed inspections of machinery to assess damage and identify necessary repairs.
  • Conduct standard diagnosis tests on machine components to diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Produce comprehensive lists of required parts and materials for proposed machine preparation work.
  • Overhaul, repair, or refurbish machines according to agreed work plans, removing and dispatching components for specialist attention.
  • Inspect and test completed machines to ensure they meet expected performance levels.
