Project Engineer Opportunity at Carbon60 - Eng&Tech Careers

We are working with a well-established Wastewater Treatment company who specialize in installing base products to keep wastewater treatment plants running efficiently across the UK and Ireland.

The role we are recruiting for is for a Graduate Project Engineer. In this position, you will combine responsibilities and duties for project delivery while gaining experience and undertaking training over a development period (approximately 1 year) to progress to a Project Engineer role on successful completion of the development period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Projects team to secure new business and deliver projects, comprising of activities below:
  • Work to the Company's health and safety, quality, and environmental management systems and comply with all guidelines, procedures, and processes.
  • Review all applicable contract documents and briefs, POs, project plans, specifications, and provide comments when applicable.
  • Coordinate with other departments and Project Engineers/Managers to meet scheduled task deadlines, purchasing, fabrication, construction, inspection, start-up, etc., and prioritize staff workload to meet goals; assign warranty items to engineering staff.
  • Schedule and conduct project review and proposals review meetings, focusing on terms and conditions of contract, scope of supply, cost, construction, and project scheduling.
