Attention all Certified Electricians

We are seeking a skilled Certified Electrician to become a vital member of our dynamic Programme team. If you excel at problem-solving, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring projects are completed accurately on the first attempt while enjoying collaborative work, we would be eager to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include performing daily electrical repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and compliance tasks, which encompass Inspection and Testing as well as the completion of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). You will play an essential role in our team focused on delivering renovated kitchens and bathrooms.

As a team-oriented individual, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, complemented by a positive attitude. Since you will be working in residential settings, it is crucial to be personable and approachable, possessing excellent communication and customer service skills. Additionally, you should be organized and understand the significance of executing work correctly on the first attempt.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an apprenticeship in Electrical or possession of an equivalent NVQ Level 3 & City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification
  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in testing and inspection
  • Familiarity with 18th Edition regulations
  • AM2 certification
  • Proven experience in delivering a variety of electrical services in a residential context
  • Background in property maintenance for a social landlord, housing association, or local authority
  • Valid driving license
  • This position requires a DBS check due to the nature of working in clients' homes.

There is also potential for additional earnings through participation in the out-of-hours rota as needed.

*The advertised salary reflects a base salary for electricians of £38,000 per annum, with potential average OTE earnings of up to £1,000 per annum from out-of-hours on-call allowances and voluntary overtime. This role necessitates participation in the out-of-hours rota.
