Job Summary:
This is a senior leadership role within the Adults' Service Commissioning team, responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of the Commissioning Delivery Plan. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing Market Position Statements and pipeline of social care commissioning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a Commissioning Board to set commissioning priorities, consolidate, and oversee current workstreams.
- Establish regular commissioning meetings with commissioning partners from the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to identify areas for joint commissioning opportunities.
- Develop a care home framework/DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System).
- Work with care providers to refresh the Market Position Statement.
- Review the approach to market management and fee uplifts, considering the formation of a provider forum(s) and/or other means of structured and regular communication with the social care market.
- Support the Commissioning service redesign to build capacity and capability across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Head of Service level or above experience.
- Strong team player with ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Hybrid working arrangement with some on-site working.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Remedy Recruitment Group team as a Senior Commissioning Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of the Commissioning Delivery Plan, working closely with the Commissioning team and external partners.
