About the Role

A leading company in water treatment is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join its engineering team.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled engineer looking for a new challenge, who can contribute their expertise and work independently within a team of experienced plumbers and technicians with strong knowledge of L8 compliance works.

The Service Technician will travel daily to client sites, primarily within the London area, with occasional national travel. The ideal candidate should be based in South London or within a reasonable commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Ability to manage own workload effectively and work unsupervised.
  • Strong understanding of domestic systems and experience with remediation, including diagnosing faults in temperature control valves (TMVs) and addressing non-compliant temperatures.
  • In-depth knowledge of L8 compliance activities, including TMV servicing, temperature monitoring, showerhead disinfection and descaling, calorifier services, and diagnosing non-compliant temperatures.
  • Desirable experience with closed system analytical testing.
  • Capability to work both as part of an engineering team and independently.
  • Good communication skills, as the role involves reporting to operations managers and account managers.
Expected Salary Range

We are offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, to attract a talented professional who can make a significant contribution to our team.
