Accounts Assistant/ Purchase Ledger Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/ Purchase Ledger to join our Finance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile supplier invoices using Sage 50 and bespoke project management systems.
  • Set up and maintain new supplier accounts within Sage 50.
  • Process subcontract invoices and export/import invoices into Sage 50.
  • Perform monthly supplier invoice reconciliation and project costing processes.
  • Contribute to general accounting duties, including placing online orders and processing credit card payments.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts or a related field.
  • Proficient use of accounts software, preferably Sage.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm and Friday 8am – 3:15pm
