Parcel Delivery Driver (Temporary) - Sunderland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and parcels to local community.
  • Start day in delivery office, sorting mail for route.
  • Collect allocated vehicle and hand-held device detailing route and tracking mail.

Shift Lengths and Hours:

  • Vary between 4-8 hours per day.
  • Hours: 30 per week, Shifts: Between 14:00-20:00 (Between Monday-Sunday).

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: £13.37
  • Estimated Annual Salary: £26,704-£36,407 based on 30 hour working week.

About the Role:

This temporary parcel delivery driver position requires a motivated individual with strong communication skills. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to residents in our local area.

You will start each day at the local delivery office, where you will sort and gather the necessary mail and packages for your route. You will then collect your assigned vehicle and hand-held device, which provides detailed information about your delivery route and any issues that may arise during the day.

The shift lengths for this role vary, but you can expect to work between 4-8 hours per day. Your shifts will be scheduled between 14:00-20:00, Monday through Sunday, and you will be required to work 30 hours per week.

We are offering an hourly rate of £13.37, with an estimated annual salary range of £26,704-£36,407 based on a 30-hour working week.
