Physiotherapy Specialist in Chronic Fatigue Management

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work holistically as a specialist physiotherapist within the multidisciplinary team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist physiotherapy services to adults with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) / Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME).
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and empathic specialist physiotherapist to join our team. As a senior-level physiotherapist, you will work autonomously within professional guidelines, exercising responsibility for the governance of physiotherapy practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality specialist physiotherapy services to adults with CFS/ME
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans
- Exercise autonomy in practice, adhering to professional guidelines and standards
The postholder must have:
- Evidence of extensive CPD and up-to-date knowledge within Physiotherapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- An ability to critically appraise new ideas/approaches to therapy
- Knowledge of clinical governance/audit/research principles
The salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, inclusive of a competitive benefits package.
Working ArrangementsThe role offers flexible working arrangements, including face-to-face work and consultations via video platform.
