Land Acquisition Officer Job Description

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Officer to oversee new housing development projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the development team to manage and progress projects, overseeing risk, budget, timelines, and consultant coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a network of land agents and contacts across the UK to facilitate land acquisition.
  • Work with the development team to screen land for development, identify landowners, and generate contact details.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand commercial terms that can be offered to landowners while maintaining economically viable projects.
  • Instruct external legal teams to sign-off Heads of Terms and generate land lease and option agreements.
  • Negotiate easements and wayleaves with landowners and their representatives as required.
  • Advise the development and management teams on all aspects of land acquisition and policy.

Requirements:

Applicants should have a strong understanding of land acquisition principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
