As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in order to inspire their curiosity and love for science. You will create and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the national curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and motivate students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for science
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular formative and summative assessments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment and provide differentiated instruction
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom where students feel supported and respected
  • Establish effective communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
  • Proven experience teaching science to primary/secondary students
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and relevant teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Enthusiasm for science and a commitment to inspiring student learning
