Procurement Director

As a Procurement Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth purchasing of materials, optimising costs, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier negotiation and relationship management: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Contract management: Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Material sourcing: Source and evaluate new suppliers and materials to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Team leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing advantageous terms and pricing agreements.
• Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts.
