We are currently seeking an experienced Adoption Social Worker to join our team on a maternity cover basis.

About the Role

This is a temporary position lasting between 6-12 months, working 22.5 hours per week. As an Adoption Social Worker, you will be responsible for supporting families through the adoption process, ensuring that children receive the care and support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and assessing potential adopters
  • Matching children with suitable adoptive families
  • Providing post-adoption support to families

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in social work or a related field
  • Post-qualifying experience in adoption or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
