Senior Integration Engineer

This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. As a Senior Integration Engineer at Mirai Talent, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop integration solutions using middleware platforms and tools.
  • Design integration architectures, ensuring scalability, robustness, and data integrity.
  • Write and maintain code for system integrations and data transformation processes.
  • Deploy integration solutions in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements for integration projects.
  • Conduct testing to ensure that integration solutions meet both functional and performance expectations.
  • Monitor and maintain existing integrations to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and implement enhancements to improve existing solutions.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and workflows.
  • Ensure that all integration solutions comply with organisational policies and industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and system administrators, to meet integration objectives.
  • Communicate project timelines, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders effectively.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff regarding integration solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in integration development and support.
  • Strong knowledge of API management tools (e.g., Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management).
  • Experience with API design, development, and consumption.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their associated integration services.
  • Familiarity with data formats and transformation methods (XML, JSON, XSLT).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, and other web services.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code integration platforms is a plus.
